This site is a showcase for Vitória Marina Flats, which is responsible for the data handled here (the controller). We take your privacy seriously and collect as little as possible. Below we explain, in plain terms, what data is handled when you use the site.
What data we collect
Only what you type into the contact form yourself: the room type you are interested in, check-in and check-out dates, number of guests and the name you provide. We do not ask for documents, email or payment details on this site.
How we use this data
These fields are used only to compose a pre-filled WhatsApp message that you choose to send to our team. The legal basis is your own request to get in touch (preliminary steps taken at your request, art. 7, V, of the LGPD). The data is not saved on our own servers or in any database. It lives only in the conversation you start on WhatsApp.
WhatsApp and third parties
Once you continue the conversation, it takes place inside WhatsApp, operated by Meta and subject to Meta's own privacy policy. The location section also shows an embedded Google Maps map, which may set Google's own cookies in your browser. When we are running ads, we also use Google Ads to measure results, and in that case Google may set cookies in your browser, always with your consent (see below). Any bookings made through Booking or Airbnb follow those platforms' policies.
Cookies and local storage
We do not set tracking cookies without your permission. When we are advertising on Google, we use Google Ads cookies only to know how many people message us on WhatsApp after seeing an ad. They are created only if you click "Accept" on the cookie notice; if you decline, none are created, and it changes nothing about how you use the site. To review your choice, simply clear your browser data and the notice appears again. We also store your language preference in your browser's local storage. The Google map may create its own cookies (see above).
Your rights (LGPD)
Under Brazil's data protection law (LGPD), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any data you have sent us. Since we do not store this data on the site, just reach us on WhatsApp or by email (contacts at the bottom of this page) for any request.
Updates and minors
We may update this notice from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest revision. This site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children or teenagers.
